Swinging the Coil Through the Weeds & Ivy...Get a Key Date 1921-D Mercury Dime!!!

I returned to where I left off from last Saturdays hunt and I dig out a key date merc! It's a 1921-D! It turns out to be my second 21-D, the first one I found in 2013.
I didn't know I had a good date until I got home and rinsed off the dime!

Also dug a 1901 V nickel, a silver ring, and 7 wheat pennies. This is a great spot, lots of trash in the area but it's paying off!

That certainly does look like a great spot CHF! The Merc is a pretty rare one , with only about one million minted. Congrats on that. The silver ring is a beauty too. Excellent hunt!

Super nice finds, especially the 1921-D Merc and the Silver ring! Congrats! If that stone in the ring is actually changing from Redish hues to Purplish hues, then you may have an Alexandrite gem in the ring.
