Picked up this Swiss made set of micrometers for $5 at a garage sale. The maker is Brutsch Rüegger. Found the maker website and they sell some really expensive tools. Couldn't find any sold listings for this brand though. Did a search for Swiss micrometers and some sell for $75-$110. Listed tonight on ebay for $99 at auction. Within ten minutes, I had 6 views so maybe there are people looking for these.

These can sure come in handy measuring jewels and coins. Nice score

Still very useful and salable items. The condition looks great. I keep a caliper in my glove box, as I need it from time to time. I got my china made one at Harbor Freight Tools for something like 19 bucks. Still any thing Swiss made instrument is a superior product over what I have. That really matters to some folks.
