Trying to find out what this symbol is on this tube end. Is that an eagle and stars? Or is it something else.

Sure looks like a stylised eagle with a couple of stars around its lower half. There also seems to be a crown above the oval cartouche. Could we see the actual tube please, and some dimensions?

I believe it's a Coty trademark and the tube will be for one of their cosmetic products (likely lipstick). This is from one of their lipstick cases (1930s):

You're welcome. Coty filed various trademark registrations, with the eagle and stars plus crown first registered in 1923. The 'COTY' name wasn't part of the registered design. They also used variants of it which weren't registered.
