Slim pickings at this place. Low and slow getting what's left . Got this at old church site at lunch. Appears to be metal tag, don't know if I can clean it up anymore. Probably dog tag or something else attached to

Hard to tell. Also resembles a small bracelet with the chains/clasp missing.

The back says Japan on it in a small silver ish section so I got that to go off of

The tag may be a dog's name that fell from the collar it was attached to. The button is a work clothes rivet style from Gander Brand
