My father passed a couple weeks ago, and in going through his house, we’ve run across several lapel pins which we could not identify. This one has me particularly intrigued. It is a small lapel pin with the words TASCO 5. Most of the pins are from the 1930‘s and 40’s. I don’t think it is related, but Dad was a radio operator on a B-24 with the 458th and later the 93rd bombardment groups, 2nd Air Division, Eighth Air Force. Also, he worked for Thomas and Skinner Steel Products in the 40’s, which I guess could be abbreviated as (T)homes (A)nd (S)kinder Steel Products (Co)mpany, but I’ve not been able to find any old logos matching that. Any help would be greatly appreciate.
