...since it was a $20 roll of halves initially!!! A lady in front of me a few spots at the bank made a deposit and I heard the sound!!! It was my turn to approach the tellers so I immediately asked I could buy whatever she just deposited...pictures tell it all!!!

$14 in 1966 halves!!! Every single one looks incredible!!!

I suppose I'm still waiting for a solid roll since this one was $6.00 short:-) Minor detail but I'll certainly take it!!!!

It's out there...HH!!!!!

Thanks everyone! It's always nice finding batches like this although they are few and far between!

Way to go CT! Today I learned that half dollars used to come in $20 rolls too. I love the rush of being handed those dingy rolls that you know are going to make your day. Many more solids to all us CRHing pirates! Arrgh!

As nice as they are i would scan them generally all over for any doubling or errors seen at all.

Wonder what happened to the other $6...

Love the coins though, they sure are beautiful.

that's awesome, what a unique find!

Is there anything in particular I can look for other than the FG missing?

I once found a $10 roll of halves stuffed with 22 40%ers, which I guess would technically be a solid roll+2. I'd happily trade it for your 70% of a solid roll! :laughing7: Nice find.

Thanks Arkie! Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining...I just wish I had the other $6.00!!!!

$6 is $6, hits you hard if you paid $20 for the roll, bet they were 90%'s too

Oh no I only paid $14 for the roll don't worry! Since it was already open the bank pulled them out to count them...I pay face value...period!

Those $20 rolls always seem to be the same years. If $14 were all 66's then so were the other $6

Awsome score!
