The Ten Commandments
The real reason that we can't have the
Ten Commandments posted in a courthouse is this:

You cannot post
"Thou Shalt Not Steal,"
"Thou Shalt Not Commit Adultery,"and
"Thou Shall Not Lie"

in a building full of lawyers, judges and politicians..It
creates a hostile work environment.

I'm reminded of the two cowpokes who rode over to a tent revival one night, where an evangelist spoke about the Ten Commandments. Both were deeply impressed by what they had heard, and for a long time they rode back in silence. Finally, as they neared their camp, one of them said, "Tex, I been thinkin' on what that preacher feller said. You know I ain't one to brag, but I ain't never made no graven images."
