This is a great lead if the location hasn't been developed. Read email below and see link with photo of site.
As email indicates, I may have more detail coming. Anyone from Tennessee, let me know if you are interested in learning more. I am in NY, so won't be pursuing it.

Although I spent many hot, summer days at Shady Nook, I am no longer sure where it was located. I have not lived in Paris for over 50 years. But as I recall, Shady Nook was on east Blythe Street. It was in a wooded area with little, if anything around it. I also seem to recall the street/road was not paved but was gravel. I don't think the pool was that far out on Blythe.
Will let you know more particulars of the location when my classmate e-mails me.
