This is completely against Nature & common sense :(

there outta be a Law :(

Sergey Brin's $330,000 hamburger does not come with fries.
Or a soda. or the fat that makes a burger actually taste like a burger.

& unfortunately no cow was ground up :(

the world's first manufactured beef patty was created in a laboratory,
funded by the deep pockets of Google's quixotic co-founder.

Just my 2 cents worth, I recall seeing this past winter a W H chef said food of the future will be chemicals. GodBless Chris

Finally we're closing in on the "Jetsons". Today test tube food, tomorrow flying cars and automatic dog walkers.

I felt the same way, I listened to a great commentary on a certain radio station I like. The demand for meat of all kinds is growing exponentially. There's simply not enough land and resources to continue producing protein sources under current methods. We all want our steak and eat it too. Same goes for fossil fuel consumption. It's time we thought of these issues on a global, long term bases. Also the taste testers reported this $340,000 hamburger to be quite good! :) it's just the thought of it I guess that seems disgusting!

in my case it's plane as the nose on my face.

when I'm eating a Burger I want to know it's rare ,bloody &
has that real taste that
only Beef, Fat & blood can provide.

No matter what they say about it tasting good, there is no amount of money can make
artificial hamburg taste real. taste good to an animals rights nutter yes. But real ? No.

they can't even make diet coke taste like classic coke.

Only way they can make a nice Bloody test tube Burger taste right,
is to make Test tube Cows, raise them till they are old enough to slaughter,
Then make ground beef from them imo

& even then, I'd have to be sure they fed the cows right.
If they feed the cows health food, they may still taste different & bad :dontknow:

I have no problem with how Veal is made, But it doesn't taste like Cow Either

chem cell research * the age of chemical foods * --hell vitamans are just that --not food but chemicals that provide "food like" nutriitation--their just changing the "look and feel" shape of things to make you "think" your eating food --- soylant green anyone?

The way we grow chickens isn't too far from test tube meat anyway if you stop and think about it.

The husband got a tour of a chicken plant up around Starke, when he was on a paving job years ago.
He wouldn't eat chicken for about 4 months either.

I hate biting in to food, and tasting and smelling more chemicals, than I do actual food!
I have just about given up, on anything that comes in a box, anymore.

Did you know, that you have to be nice to cows? You can't yell at them and be mean. They won't give milk.
There's also something about "terror" hormones and chemicals released, if you traumatize them before you kill them.
Imho, I think everyone should thank whatever little animal they are eating, before they eat it. Just seems right.

I always say a "thank you "animal for providing me with food prayer after harvesting a wild deer or hog or turkey -- I eat what I shoot and like "fresh real meat" without all the chemicals in it like "store meat" has in it --and a well placed shot is a fast and much more "humane" death than a long slow natural one would be -- by disease or injury or a pack of coyotes ripping them to bits.
