Gotta love them, their energy, laughter, thirst for knowledge, and propensity to loose metal objects at schools and parks! Today's haul included a hat pin shaped like a Texas Ranger badge, about the size of a half dollar. Best I can tell, it is some organization sponsored by AT&T.

Also found a 1955-1960 Kilgore "Buck" cap gun, nearly complete minus some rotted iron parts inside and the plastic grip panels.

I really like the large (size of a US silver dollar) Indianapolis Speedway Commemorative coin from 1976. This thing banged so hard that William Hung would be proud.

I hope that all of my TNet friends can get out, rain or shine, and get some digging in this weekend. Thanks for peeking, Happy Hunting, Sub 8-)

Just goes to show the Indianapolis 500 is the greatest spectical in racing.

Thanks for sharing!

Nice finds, I usually look for open spots and try to imagine where the kids were tumbling around and playing!!!

Hahaha, classic! That's the best pop-culture reference I've seen on here in a year.

Terrific finds Sub. I really like the Ranger badge.

DTC, I was waiting for a fellow TNetter to make the connection. William cracks me up. The commemorative coin was a solid, clanging 92 VDI on the ATPro. I always go to "just another piece of copper tubing scrap," but this time was a pleasant surprise. Cheers, Sub 8-)

Cool finds Sub I really like that Indy souvenir. :icon_thumright:
