I found all 3 of these in one creek laying in the same spot. I’ve found nothing since. I wonder why? And they are so big and thick just makes me wonder what they used to be.

That’s some really rough material. East coast type rock used in desperation. I always felt sorry for the Indians in the east and northeast flint poor areas.

It feels like a schist type material. I’ve found some nice chert and quartz in that creek but no more of that material.

Just spitballing but water tends to sort by size, maybe the rest of them dropped out upstream?

Possibly there are some deep spots that I can’t see in. Maybe this year will be different. I can’t just go whenever I want cause I have to park in their driveway and they have to be home.
