Here's todays finds from the big field.
2 Loom weight medieval.
2 buckles the large one georgian, the small one medieval.
17th century silver love token.
1 silvered Roman coin.
A watch key
A cut quarter hammered coin Henry 111, 1247-72 AD.
And at 9 oclock in the picture a fragment of a medieval pilgrims badge ?.

as is the usual case there's next to no detail left on the token. It's almost certainly william 111 late 1600s.

Too true, cut coins nearly always seem to have little wear. Think because they are small they were easy to drop so didn't stop in circulation long.
