Hmmm...a little too much grey. :D Now I'm going to have to fire up the oil lamp and collect some lamp black. ;)

Ok....I am back from Rehoboth Beach, DE. Whew...I hope my MDng luck at CTH is better than it was at Rehoboth! :( :( :( Found about $2-$3 in clad....and a tiny toy train. I was blessed with having my two brothers from KCMO make it....and I even taught my middle brother how to MD....well...sorta of. He had this brilliant concept that you turn your detector on and suddenly you find hordes of jewelry and coins. Oh where I heard that one before?! LOL

It was really great seeing my brothers again...the last time all three of us were together was at our mother's funeral, five years ago. We also paid a special tribute to our dad who passed in 1997. From the time we were knee-high to a grasshopper, at our house, Dad would play dominoes with us at least 3 nights a week...when he wasn't working nights at Champlin Refinery. Without any signal, Dad would fix a kettle of popcorn, and we would play dominoes and eat popcorn. SO...as a tribute to our dad, the three of us boys sat down every night of the vacation....and played dominoes. I had forgotten how great it was to yell out..."DOMINO!"

The 3 of us boys had a great time...........hmmm....epecially at a bar called "The Frog's Pond". OH LORDY........."What happened at Rehoboth Beach, STAYS at Rehoboth Beach"....LOL Let's just say..............after a minutes, we knew we weren't in Kansas with Dorothy and Toto...LOL

While at the beach, my middle brother used my DFX and I used my new Excalibur 1000. I will be bringing both of them to CTH, but will probably be mainly using the DFX.

I was extremely surprised and pleased that during the entire week were there, I encountered only one pull tab and 3 beer bottle caps.....no cans.

FANTASTIC...I see that RR is coming! WTG!!

The Caldwell Hotel didn't even ask for a credit card number to hold my room. I assume that it will still be available to me. I look forward to meeting everyone....Steve

Well what do you expect. That last pic scared everyone off. ;)

lol,

I understand ME....I'm at work too. Every now & then my boss comes by, looking over my shoulder. One day he saw my TNet screen before I could minimize :D

Mel,
You mean you only have 10 fingers and 10 toes? Try living next door to a refinery for a few years (48) and your liable to end up with more mutations than you can shake a stick at :D

Stoney,
That pic isn't scary...they should see the "real" pic of me ;D ;D ;D
