Hey TW...I know what you mean....I did used to live next to a refinery....Champlins Refinery in Enid. My dad worked there for 34 or so years until his retirement....and all 3 of us boys worked there during the summers during our college years. Whenever we had a "turn-a-round" out there, the sulfur smell would gag you. Dad would always look at us and say "That's our bread and butter".

Stoney, your comment just reminded me of the movie "Best of Show"....a comedy about dog shows and how dog owners go overboard at the shows. If you have not seen it yet, go rent it....it's been out for quite a few years. There is a part in there where one of the dog owners says that he lets his wife show the dogs because he can't...because he has 2 left feet. Everybody laughs, and he says..."No, I am serious...I have 2 left feet!" And, the camera pans down to the guy's feet....and he DOES have 2 left feet!.....so....everytime he walks his dog at the show, he keeps going around in circles!....because he doesn't have a right foot...so he can't turn right!

Like I said...ya gotta rent it!

Boy I hope not because when I took Noodle's room they didn't take any of my info either.

Water, water, my detector don't need no stinkin water. I only bathe once a month, I'll do it before I leave out for the CTH!!!

I stoped by the Motel office the other day and noticed they used pebbles for marking when a room was not vacant. The sheets smell fresh because they wash them down on the rocks by the creek. They do charge extra for hot water to pour in the wash tub when taking a bath.

Burdie, you forgot one thing. When we were up there last Sunday I noticed that they upgraded to a 2 holer out back.

Wow! Fresh washed sheets! Can't beat that!! No kiddin', Burdie. When I talked to them the other day, they were working on a water leak and asked me to call 'em back when they had more time to talk!

Noodle, the water leak was part of the 2 holer problem. They heard about the French bidet's and the pressure was blowing people across the road. LOL

Now when is everyone comming in? I still need to to if anyone is staying in Ponca, I was going to give everyone a treat and decorate the boxes but since Burdie said no boxes I guess you all are stuck with indoor plumbing!

TW I still am planning on getting with your wife tomorrow, and some more so she'll get some practice in.

I cant wait till everyone gets here!

WSD, Today the weather was beautiful in the mid 70's, but 50's at night, I was out at T=Ball practice when the cold front came in!!!!!!!!!!!!! Burr!! Even more for the kids they weren't dressed for it.

I'm staying at Caldwell motel, Stretch is staying at South Haven (?)...BTW anyone else staying there? He'll need a ride.
I was amazed when I called reservations, no cc info. I just sat there for a second thinking I had gone back into a time warp. Small towns are still the best for hospitality. 8)

Our schedule is pretty flexible, we do want to be there by 1700 local...(5:00 pm Caldwell Time - sorry couldn't resist). Might see if Stretch wants to leave earlier...if so maybe he and I can hit someplace before 1700 (5:00 pm).

After seeing some of these pics...you folks scare me :P All of your planned activities, I gonna need a nap.
