THE CHISHOLM TRAIL HUNT

LOVE all those signs! (So does hubby).

As for the full moon - my firstborn was #16 of a total of 24 babies born in one night - a full moon - at that hospital alone! (Fitzsimmons Army Medical Center in Denver). A wild and crazy weekend for those folks!

gettin' back to gettin' ready!

Do you deliver? :P

Sheriff Bullen has some hysterical nightie clad female locked up, he's ready to call the white coats in. Seems she's chanting the words over and over again. "Where's Monty? Where's Monty?" "Anyone see my Monty?" ;D ;D

He also reported two shady characters detecting at the CTH site. If he can catch em, he'll lock em up. ;D ;D

I sure hope someone brings along a laptop with Photoshop. . .
I have a feeling SOME of us will need our photo's "fixed" :o before we can take them home ;)

Eagle. I dont think the phase of the moon has anything to do with when more violent crimes occurr. I was a detective and found that most serious crimes occurred when I was on call for the weekend! :P

ill bring my laptop with photo shop just in case lol

I didn't realize there would be so many food choices in Caldwell. :D

One in every bunch!

I did but I look at the map and see three different ways to go. What can you tell me about Route 166?

If I remember correctly, 166 is pretty much a straight shot. It's a 2 lane road after running past Joplin, look for the exit for Baxter Springs. You'll run north a ways and take a left. It runs through Baxter Springs, Coffeville, Sedan, etc. Keep going west through Arkansas City (FYI-it's pronounced Ar-Kansas City).

What route would you take?
The one that gets you to Caldwell the quickest. :P

If anyone would like to find other attractions while your in Kansas, here is the place. Click on events, then search. You can pick a city, a radius, and a set of dates. Lots of interesting things to do in Kansas.....no really...
