I decided to stop by the 1800s permission after work today even though I knew a storm was coming. I cranked the T2 up to 95% sensitivity and Disc 0, something I learned watching Bill Ladd's videos and I found silver in an area I've hunted several times before. I was only able to hunt for about 45 min before the rain came but it was worth the trip. Its worn but its my first and I'm still excited.

Oh it did for sure. I'm going again tomorrow after work. I think I may have to call in to work "sick".

Ben, beautiful Stander! Worn yes, but complete with a clear date...I'd take all them I could shove in my pouch! Ddf.

Thanks, I started metal detecting about 3-4 months ago and i Love it! You just never know what is going to come out of the ground next. There was a lot of iron around it too giving it a jumpy signal but if there's one thing i have learned about this hobby its, when in doubt, Dig it!! This property has been great so far. The owners only request was that if i found any civil war bullets or items which were specific to the house he wanted them. I have shown him every item i've dug. Including silver rings, jewelry, coins, 1830s buttons and other relics and he kept to his word. So far he has received (3) 3 ringers (1) Enfield (2) civil war naval buttons, a brass doorknob from part of the original house that was torn down, some 1800s pottery and china and a few other relics. So everybody is happy. I will be back there hitting it again today.

Very nice SLQ, congratulations! :occasion14:
