The creek

This is one of the first places I have every gold panned. I didn't find any gold but I did see my first river otter.

The lil bugger was 10' away from me with his head out of the water ..just watching me. He then took a dunk and never resurfaced.

Very pretty place, looks nice and peaceful. You could sit there all day and just listen to the sounds of the creek and the critters.

I love otters and to finally see one ...especially from outa the blue like that really made my day!

I thought that looked familiar. I fished Applegate Res about 7 years ago (when the parents were still in Medford). We were in Grants Pass when that was still just the Applegate River. Ah the memories.
