Hunted two spots today, got in a total of 3 hours and 15 minutes. Once at 630 in morning, and this afternoon over at the mother-in-laws (went to park). They sent my daughter on her bike to come find me and tell me it was the end of my hunting day. The dfx was so hot I thought I would need a fire hose to cool it down! <<<Pinpointing and readings were dead on, used the 5.3 Eclipse coil in the morning and for the first time in a while used the stock coil in afternoon. Man the stock coil felt heavy after all those months of using the smaller coil. Interrupted hunt ended but the grill was also smoking too... when I got back to mother in laws! 107 coins, $7.63 in clad, if daughter did not show up the dfx was ready for a few more rounds! :) Very fun day!! returned to park later but only to play softball with kids!

You rock!!

Congratulations on your fine day! How many 100-coin day hunts have you had this year?... Me? Just two. What is your silver count and in what state do you detect? Again.. Excellent day!

It sure makes you feel good to hit those high yeild days. Hope there are many more in the future.

nice going Gregg if the coins are there the DFX WILL FIND THEM....I hit a possible penney dime so I started digging came up with a washer smaller than a half dime...
5 inches down and another one that was over 12 inches down which turned out to be a pop can.

I did find 12 pennies and a dime and a hot wheel to

Around 8-10 100 coin days, only 4 silver coins this year>2 Merc, 2 Roseys. 9 rings, misc silver pendants and stuff. Remember I normally hunt just 3 hours a hunt but get out 3 times a week. Anytime I go over 3 hours I usually hit 100. I hunt in Illinois, like to hunt by myself, use it as my quiet time...my job is extremely crazy at times!

Because I usually stop after 3 hours the best single day I had was just recently>>>202 coins in one day. That hunt was 6 hours and involved a few nice coin spills. 3 hours just seems right for me, I like to head home with 60-100 coins each hunt.

You are blowing it away with that DXF. I'm thinking maybe my next upgrade. I'd like to take one for a test drive....

Rudy not exactly sure what you are looking for but the dfx is deadly even without changes in the pre set programs up to 6.0... Pinpointing right on.. If you want more you need to make some basic adjustments that you learn in time. Having a smaller coil in trashy areas certainly does not hurt! :)

That is a serious clad harvest!

Sweet finds, Gregg,
