I mean, I've been in this hobby for nigh onto 40 years. Yet, I can still claim
I've found something that is a first for me on almost every hunt. :)

Didn't find a heck of a lot but it kept me enjoying the whole time.

When I saw this one I thought, "Lone Ranger?". :)

A bit heavy on the "toasted" whole wheats but after all, they've been in
there a really long time! ;)

I wonder if these are easy to date. I have so many of them! :)

Yeah I found a first for me a 5 cent euro I enjoy the foreign coins it's cool to think of how far they traveled to end up under our coils.

95% of the wheats I dig are toasted as well. The last two hunts, I found a stack of wheats together and they are corroded green. I guess they were like a battery in the ground. I also dug a Mercury with the last couple of wheats and it looks like it has rust on it from reacting to them.

Yes for me, it can only count as a good hunt, if I get a first. I manage that on 98% of my hunts.

I can see an occasional Canadian coin where I am, maybe even a Mexican something or other. But, for some reason, I just don't expect European unless it's really old. LOL

Thanks!

I found 3 French coins on some lots close to my house in Arkansas. A 1917 2 Franc, and two 10 Centime coins dated 1864 and 1855. I didn't understand how this come about until I learned that the person who had owned the properties had served in France in WWII and may have brought them back. Neat how we can find something out of place and then get an idea on how it got there.

Nice finds!
Today was a beautiful day! I got so into MD'ing did 5 hrs. aspirin and sleep should fix the aches & pains!

Your right we find all sorts of stuff we've never found before, puts the thrill in the hunt!

Blingie does know he can't eat that ladybug, I hope! Have tums on hand in case

Yeah, every find is a first, in some way. Like I've never held that particular find in my hand before. But, some are "first-ier" than others. ;)

As far as Blingie's dietary supplements? He's on his own there. LOL

Thanks!
