THE GALLERY of favorite abandoned places pics... post your cool / wierd pics here...

I do believe it is one of the older tomb sites, It was empty, but I think I came up with a couple of bronze coins in the dirt floor that dated to the 1400's
Families do abandon these older tombs and move the family to a newer tomb site, this may of been done a couple of hundred years ago.

Never got the chance to detect for any coins buried in bottles etc with a date on them - which was a relatively common practice of sailors who stopped by our shores in the early days of our discovery.

Maybe one day I will go back and look a little harder the next time.

These are a few pictures I took in Washington State. The location is just east of the Wind Farm and on the North Side of The Columbia River.
The hole I came across was dug by humans. There are blade marks on the inside wall of the hole. If you come across this location and have a desire to search it, you must go to the main house and ask for permission.

This is a picture of a still active church in McLean, Texas.
When I-40 opened up, it pretty much wiped a lot of business off the Rte 66 Map
Although McLean is not a ghost town, it is teetering on the edge of becoming one.
