Hi all most of the war type relics i have found over the years are found in the blocks of houses that have been demo-ed. Australian has never been a country to have a huge army. Only in the times of need like the great wars does the whole nation pull together . its not uncommon to find buttons as everyone wants a piece of the action.

I hunted this large house block during the week. The old house was a miners cottage that dates back to 1870. Until this stood for a 140 years. Miners where payed poorly to work in the mines and the pay of the armied forces was quite high. Just got to wonder if was it for "King and country" or
"money" Often the young were sucked in by British Propaganda

While hunting i got hit by a hail as big as marbles and the weather got quite nasty so i headed home
Herer a pic of site and finds and hail storm.
