Sunday afternoon curb hunting turned up some good stuff this time. Earring is marked 925/545, looks like maybe peridot set in it? Also my first silver money of 2023 in the form of the rosie. I thought I'd show all the junk I dug too.

Yeah, that looks about like what pours out of my pouch at the end of a hunt. Those aluminum twist off caps always get me going, they sound so clean!
Great silver finds, congrats!

Looks like you swing the AT Pro which I'm a fan of, for sure. However, when I have a hunt like that and come home with not one single nickel, I always wonder what I'm passing up. With that many pennies and dimes, there MUST be a nickel or two around!
fan DIME tastic and good luck next time out.

Yeah, nickels pulltabs and canslaw seem to have a Venn diagram that's a perfect circle. I actually went back out with a nel snake coil and found this (gold?) sorority pin. It rang up like a nickel (49-51 on ATpro). I'm thinking about upgrading to an equinox 600 for dry detecting, but I'm waiting for a used one to come along that doesn't cost almost as much as one new.
