it's my turf now lol. Nice Barber

OK Greaser..... show them.... Most of us here are METAL detecting.

47 Rosie today, silver number 6. It's tough out there. The rain should help

I was kind of jealous because the Greaser found the good stuff again today.... even if it was an accidental freak of nature kind of find. Well, anywho, I went home and finished up the work I should have been doing in the first place. Once that was done I saw there were still a couple hours of daylight left so I got my oldest boy to come with and we went scouting for a door to knock on. Found a good looking place and got permission to hunt. I always make sure to ask if they lost any rings or jewelry so if I find something I can return it. The lady said she didn't. Got the ATPs out and after about 30 swings I got a scratchy non-ferrous tone (63-75). I figured I'd dig it. It could be a nice relic or something...... or SOMETHING..... :o

I was flapping my jaw to the grease monkey about how I still need to find a barber half, franklin half, peace dollar, any seated coin, fling eagle cent, shield nickel, or anything gold..... Well then he pulls out his surprise freak of nature find, (I'll let him brag that one up), and got me feeling the need to regain the lead in this whole non-competition thing. So I go out and pop a 14K ring with at least 3 carats of diamonds on it. Take that!!!

Oh yeah.... I almost forgot.... 1st GOLD!!! Har-har, Har-dee, Har-har.

Too bad it isnt real Toad that would have been sick.

Here is my real find from yesterday.

No idea on age but I am sure it predates my 1866 2 cent piece.

Yup... Phony as a 3 dollar bill. DANG! But I found silver #18 yesterday.... it helped ease the pain. Today is the first day I didn't swing the stick in over a week, I'm getting dizzy and a little queezy.

Got a great new street tear out I'm going to get tomorrow. Mi so horney.

Good luck on the street tear out. Keep us posted on the finds. I've never tried that before. I just secured a couple more 100+ year old yards.... AND a lead on a possible cache of three 1 gallon jars full of old coins and currency. (Silver, gold, and silver/gold certificates.

Nice Toad yep it is going to be really hard to catch up with you.

Awesome Joeyo let us know what you get.

Toad I am on vacation this week so we should go hit one or two of them for sure.

Street tear out was a complete wash. Not one coin. Nice old town, two blocks. Very disappointed. Stuck at 6 silvers.

Park repairs are the best

Bummer man well at least you got to try it.

I think the boulevards are the best on the street teariuts

It's been three days without a silver..... something is wrong.... I did find a 1916s wheatie yesterday.

Where are we going tomorrow toad?

I will get back from the cities in the early afternoon. We can find a yard somewhere.
