I’ve had these in my collection for several years and have never been able to figure out exactly what they are. The movie “The Greek Tycoon” was a 1970s film about Jackie Kennedy and Aristotle Onassis but they changed the names because both families threatened to sue. Anthony Quinn played Onassis. Based on the font (which matches movie posters) and the fact that Quinn uses beads like this in the movie, I’ve concluded they are connected to the movie.
The chain and all the beads are at least sterling. There is only one small mark, which reads “M46” and then “1000”. I’ve never seen 1000 silver, only .999 fine.
Anybody have any ideas? Could it be some sort of gift to cast members? Thanks for any and all thoughts. I appreciate it.
