I just happened to find a site that said they knew that the Iron Door Mine was in the Santa Catalina Mountains, Arizona. I also remembered a story told to me by an old acquaintance years ago. This person, mentioned in our article told us about quite a few different things he found in the desert southwest and they all turned out to be true, over the years I've grown to trust him, he's now deceased. He was dying when he told us most of this stuff and we even went looking for the Iron Door Mine once. Things change, we moved, and money is tighter so we'll never get to look for this. So we put a story up on our site thinking maybe someone else would get the ambition and energy it would take to find it.
