Well my digging season is over for the year. The ground is as hard as concrete but I managed to find one more. With the river being so low still I decided to put my waders on ,and walk the stretch of river that I found many bottles over the summer. I wasn't having much luck and the water is freezing but I found this hoxsie Albany squat blob top stuck in the mud. It's very crude and whittled is anyone familiar with one? All and all its a good way to end the year. Thanks for looking and the help. Happy New Years- Justin

Wow that's a beauty. Don't know anything about it though.

Great find, Justin. Way to end 2016 with a bang.

I love it! Great looking bottle.

That's a beauty.

Nice 2016 ender, man! That's a beaut. You're a trooper for getting out there despite the cold.

Nice bottle Justin.

Man, that's a good looking bottle. Top shelf for sure.

thank you everyone. im pretty psyced about this one. but is anyone familiar with this bottle? and im not sure of age i think it might be from the 1860s. it kind of looks like it should have a pontil.

Looks like Bass is on to something! Interesting read. 1860s or 70s is definitely a good estimate.

I've seen them. Never saw an Aqua one. They usually are green I believe. Nice local find to my area. If you are interested in selling it to me send me a private message.

Awesome find. The whittle marks make it stand out. I'll look for one at the bottle show in Taunton MA. this Sunday 1/8. With so many bottles on display there will be one there. The trouble will be finding it.
