I don't hurt critters. As a child my stepfather shot a squirrel's nest and a baby fell out. I bottle fed it until it was ready to tear the house apart - and it did.
"THEY" made me put it in a cage outside in the dead of Winter. It died of either a broken heart or the cold.....

Normal life is full of tragedies......

I like chipmunks. I had to escort a small snake out of my basement today, I looked down at the floor and said WHAT? Give me a break already. At least one of the cats didn't find it. I couldn't tell what it was, either a copperhead or more likely a northern water snake, the blasted thing tried to bite me!
