I personally have no problem with any coin, but when the us mint trys to be politically correct and does not want to offend anyone, then they should design there coins without a bust. But on further thought someone would be offended by wich symbols, wich animals , wich metals it was made from, and if you just put numbers and values on them they would say that capitalism was being promted to much. Its a no win situation for someone or another. If I can get one person to send me a coin because they are offended by it , it would be a win for me. Ill take your susan b Anthony, your sacajweas, your pennies, and especially a 100$ gold commemorative coin. If you feel that money is racist, ugly, capitalistic, or even if you feel bad at the way you aquired it, or maybe you have to much of it, or maybe its dirty money and you feel guilty about it then PM me and I will provide an adress to send those disgusting coins to. I will guarantee you that you will never ever see those racist, ugly, offesive coins ever again. LOL !!!

Now im thinking I should start a site called freemoney.com id probaly get a million hits really quick, and then everyone would realize im not giving away free money im collecting your free money. I could start a blog documenting all the great things im doing and places im going with all the free money people send me.

Really? I'm buying one. After the mint melts down the lot of them, the other four the mint sold will likely get pawned and scraped.

I have been listening to Tom Lehrer from way back .. at least in the very early 1960's .. and maybe a tad before. I loved his early stuff, but he too, caved to political correctness which to me was disheartening.

I went back through the whole thread again. I think Tedyoh pegged it. It DOES look like a coin they run on the infomercials. I think he hit the nail right on the head. I do not collect gold, so won't matter what the mint makes, because I just don't collect gold. Or silver. Finds excepted and they are few and far between.
