The Offer

You ask if I can prove destiny. If I could I would be in a better place. I think we all know it will go even further the 1000 posts. Don't be such a doubter, this is real life drama right here. Then you ask if I can prove that there are lurkers here ready to make that 1000 post. Come on you know there are all kind of glory hounds here just trying to make a name for themselves. I bet the TS is just sitting there in his basement mocking us.
I just don't buy into the lurker theory, someone is just watching the thread and not doing anything with it doesn't make 9 cents to me..In his basement? he's parked in a van/rv by the river no basement

ticm your a man after my own heart so leave my heart alone....got you a little closer to 1000 lmao

Whats so important about 1000? Cube.jpg

Are they still straining coffee through old socks? Man, that is hardcore camping.

Hay, I drink about two pots of coffee a day, well it takes two cups jest to bring the ticker up to speed. I get the giant economy size pack of the filters. It's the best value in the whole market. Never tried sox But I must admitt to once desperetly using an old T shirt. That land owner is a slow responder. I think he is trying to get even. lol I would like to get this cache nailed down!Ma and Pa srike.jpg

Store bought coffee filters? Tell me it isn't so. Geesh ... I thought you were a real prospector then I hear this. The stories I used to read about old-time treasure hunters told of coffee so strong that they used it to waterproof tents.

Reference the land owner ... he is thinking over his options. It does not take much understanding of human nature to realize he is probably doing a bit of research to see if the treasure legend has merit. If the guy purchased the land as an investment, then he is a profit motivated soul. He is mulling this offer over from every angle, you can be sure of that.

Time will tell. You have no choice but to wait or move on to something else.

You make that knife in your avatar. I made a nice one 15 years ago, Used a severely tempered band saw blade. Hickory handle, Lostwhile hunting, Never recovered.

poorhunter78 If you did all the research then why did you need frankn? It seems that you would want someone younger to dig and do the heavy work.

Dad and i in early 70s,industrial hacksaw blade and elk antler, leather from some scraps left from a grandmother i never met. Lotta miles on it. Many others but this one first for hunting.

What timing, just changed avatar for a fresh find.

Poorhunter and I had both been working on this seperately so we got together and researched it in parallel then compared notes. We then went up there and interviewed people and checked out locations. Many hours were spent burning the midnite oil on the computer. I usually work alone, but with this cache, teamwork has paid off. I have seen this cache written up many times, but the location has always been way off. I think we have located the X on this one.hand print-2_edited-6.jpg

We should be at 921 right now according to my iPad app. Possibly the numbers shrink if someone deletes one or more of their old postings. If that is possible; I've not tried to delete any of mine yet.

If a post is deleted it changes the post count...

Oh great more hurdles to my 1000th post

Now you have a moving target. Aim a tad ahead of it, carefully press the return button. Try not to shake the keyboard.
