What would you do if you owned some acreage in the California solar corridor ( I-40)?

How much land? I'd probably pasture cows on it until I went broke.

I doubt I'd surrender it to any long term lease especially to a questionable technology. The technology takes a huge amount of land and then the power is sent to the grid that's 32% efficient. The utilities were forced to invest in this market by our government regardless if it made sense.
A long term lease could tie my land up long after the idea is abandoned.
Solar makes sense only if it's consumed where it's created. I might consider a pot farm. The margin on that stuff is inconceivable and will be a long time before it even meets demand.
