Kidnappers are not very interested in you

In a hostage situation, you are likely to be released first

No one expects you to run into a burning building

People call at 9PM and ask,"Did I wake you?"

People no longer view you as a hypochondriac

There is nothing left to learn the hard way

Things you buy now won't wear out

You can eat dinner at 4PM

You enjoy hearing about other people's operations

You get into heated arguments about pension plans

You have a party, and the neighbors don't even realise it

You no longer think of speed limits as a challange

You quit trying to hold your stomach in, no matter who
walks into the room

You sing along with elevator music

Your eyes won't get much worse

Your investments in health insurance is finally to pay off

Your joints are more accurate meteiorologists than the National
weather Service

Your secrets are safe with your friends, because they can't
remember them either

Your supply of brain cells is finally down to manageable size

No matter how many times I see this joke I still laugh. It's a classic, just like the Honeymooner's.

I will be thirty one for the second time in a few weeks. When I think of the good old days I think of my age as the good-old-days.

Some of the days of my youth were a little bit less then good but life is great and I'm making the most of it. I am living the good-OLD-days.

Thanks everyone for all your additions.

Real de tayopa you are right. And you reminded me of one of my favorite mugs. Here is a pic of it.

I often wondered about your joints being a better indicator of the weather than these over-paid professionals we have now days . These all fit me :-[
