That field keeps on giving, been ages since I found a Jetton.
Yeap, but we have finished gridding the area we have never covered.
Our only choice next visit is areas we have gridded twice, so we will struggle next visit.

Still bet you find something good, it's so hard to get it all.

As long there are lead sheep in this field there is hope! :occasion14:
Yeap, had pigs, horses & cattle, first sheep.

Lean times ahead though....

Nice!!! Congrats!!!!!

Cru' , I imagine the lead sheep was quite weighty...I wonder what it was used for....a toy? What period? Victorian? Curious. Thanks :)

Not really they are hollow. It's part of a toy farm yard set, circa 1930s.

Nice ! Even though no old silver showed up ..

Like the crotal on the left, I never get tired digging them.

Me neither, the farmers/owners like them as well when we give them away.

They really can relate to the bells, given many away over the years and still have loads. It really gives me pleasure digging the impacted soils out of the bell and hearing it ring again after a century, or many centuries, as the ones dug on your side of the pond. One of those "How cool is that" moments.

Those are really nice finds! I love the sheep and the bell(s), and buttons!

With lean times awaits Iโ€™m confident that you will be greatly rewarded,,keep us posted
