Raced home from work to beat the storm for a short dig. This site is old but I've only dug iron here
( good stuff)
As the sky darkened I got a high signal and from between rocks I pulled out this 1854 quarter
in awesome shape. The pics.....

That is one amazing looking quarter! Congrats!!!

It seems that sometimes the quick hunts can be more productive than spending several hours at a spot! I'm looking forward to seeing what else you unearth there.
 

I like how it has no hair line scratches. I'm glad you used your brain and didn't rub it to death Like some people do haha :)

I would be proud of that quarter, short hunt, long hunt, arctic expedition, you name it. That mine friend is a gorgeous quarter, good job. :icon_thumleft:

Great looking 1854 ya found , some had rays on the reverse , one of my favorite seated type silver quarters , A Nice one with out question !
