THE SILVER BEFOR THE STORM!!!!

[relicmeister]

Raced home from work to beat the storm for a short dig. This site is old but I've only dug iron here
( good stuff)
As the sky darkened I got a high signal and from between rocks I pulled out this 1854 quarter
in awesome shape. The pics.....

Thanks for the comments. I keep going to this site cause I know its old and HAS to have more than iron (as I have proven}
though I think much of it is deeper. Here's the site-also just before the storm (which I'm afraid will out my power and/or internet!

[cntrydncr1]

really nice seated! congrats

[g-olden years]

WOW! NOTHING SHOULD EVER LOOK THAT GOOD! lol. JUST TOTALLY AMAZING THE CONDITION OF YOUR LOVELY COIN! Andi

[wvwildman]

nice find congrats HH

[relicmeister]

tHANKS again for your comments. You know, NOTHING in Pennsylvania (mountain region) comes easily out of the rocky, rooty
soil, and coins I've dug till this baby NEVER look anything near as good as this, although silver stands the best chance-as long as
you don't stab it with your Lesche Digger!!!LOL

[myfantasia1]

That came out of the ground really nice

[pepperj]

Great looking silver quarter, probably more coinage hidden in the iron.

[RobRieman]

That's a beauty! Congrats!

[Erik in NJ]

That is one stunner of a coin--congratulations!! One of the nicest Seated quarters I've seen!

[mnixon]

[relicmeister]

I really appreciate all your comments- I'm glad this site is so close to my house I can go back almost any day I want.
I hope to make a find that will confirm my suspicions that it's one of the earlier sites in the area and one described in a
book I have on local history.
