The Square Round Table

If the earth is getting closer to the sun, then I better hurry in finding this gold. 8-)

I got this book in order to find KGC treasure near me:
https://www.amazon.com/Mysterious-Se...+Golden+Circle
The Mysterious and Secret Order of the Knights of The Golden Circle (Volume 1) Paperback — March 1, 2005
by Dr. Roy William Roush Ph.D. (Author)

On page 64, there was a story and a hand drwan map of the hiding place from a person's view point.
View attachment 1572772

Needless to say, the map is not very useful.
Does anyone have a bird's eye map of the hiding place?

Thanks,
Mike

Well, here's one of the bird's eye view spots not mapped, :cross: but don't tell anyone else, OK? 8-)

LC you are pretty well knowledgeable in the doings of the KGC. I have a question. Why do the Freemasons, the Knight's Templar and the Rosary Cross use the 3,4,5 triangle and the KGC adopted the 3,5,7 triangle? Any help is appreciated.

In its simplest form, IMHO, it has a lot to do with the cornerstone of a structure. If it is not right, nothing else in the structure will be.
The cornerstone (or foundation stone or setting stone) is the first stone set in the construction of a masonry foundation, important since all other stones will be set in reference to this stone, thus determining the position of the entire structure.
We can discuss several different aspects of the triangles if you would like. Have you seen this?

Perhaps some more knowledgeable people will also chime in on the subjects if we are lucky.

P.S. Do you believe that the original ‘Rose Croix Masons’ were, in fact, the descendants of the Knights Templar?

Whew! Just read all the way through this thread. Now in retirement I have time.
Crosse- The Younger's went to Northfield,MN. because the owner of the bank there was the head Carpetbagger in Louisiana. They thought there was lots of dough there. Cole never did identify the 2 that got away. He certainly never claimed it was the James Boys.
L.C.- I think the surveyors used Sun shots not Star shots. It's a complicated operation putting the Sun in each 1/4 of the scope and then reverse shots and timed as you do it. Easier to read in daylight as opposed to trying to read by lantern or candle. Old survey equipment didn't light up like the modern equipment.
Franklin- the 3,4,5 method is used to square things. Good luck.

I agree 100%. These guys named stars on a specific date on the pieces they buried. That is a matter of record that can be looked up to gain the proper heading.

Many thanks LC, That answers a lot of my questions. As for your question: P.S. Do you believe that the original ‘Rose Croix Masons’ were, in fact, the descendants of the Knights Templar?

Definitely a yes. I have nothing to verify other than the research into Rosalyn Chapel and the Sinclair Family. And the fact that their artifacts or I should say "The Holy of Holys" ended up being in the US through and by the northern Atlantic Route. CC sailed this route for seven years before making his voyage in 1492.

L.C. Baker, Many thanks, I could never figure out why the symbols I was finding had an upright triangle with the 7 being a part of the triangle and the 5 was connected to the 7 and the 3 was over looped off of the bottom of the 5. Thank you very much. This has been a mystery for me. Thanks for clearing that up.

"The political event of the Summer of 1861 was the biennial contest for the seat in Congress, of more than usual this time on account of the unusual circumstances of which it arose and the ability and prominence of the men which Morton's brilliant qualities had attracted to his side. W.A. Richardson, of Illinois, Daniel W. Voorhees of Indiana, George H. Pendleton and Clement L. Vallandigham of Ohio advocated the cause of Morton on the floor."

My father and I are very aware of the "brilliant qualities" that attracted these men to Julius Sterling Morton's side. It is called a membership.

Julius Morton had a group of men supporting him in Nebraska that the Republicans and abolitionists referred to as the 'Vallandighammers" as in Morton and his Vallandighammers. Now that you know he was a K.G.C. Knight with presidential connections reaching Pierce, Buchanan, Roosevelt, and Cleveland among others, but according to historical records, he did have "brilliant qualities" that attracted that kind of men. :icon_thumright: Read about it here: https://archive.org/stream/originofbutternu00matt/originofbutternu00matt_djvu.txt

Got out today and Dad was able to come along. 80 degrees all day and now we are home and the thunderstorm hits! Timed it just right and we didn't get our feathers wet. We located another gun site tree and two more symbols at one site and got exact coordinance we needed at another one. All in all a very productive day and very fullfilling to finally apply some of what we have learned in the field. Now its time to hit the books and try and figure out the two new symbols we found. Any ideas you guys have would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance, L.C.:occasion14:

Well, we DID have a EF 2-3 Tornado, here in the "Burg" (Lynchburg, Va.) on Sunday; wife & I are OK. 70's today; 50's tonight. "Burg" homes & Bizs were damaged (7.5 millions in loss), Campbell County homes & bizs, BIG loss; Amherst County community of Elon, Va. had MANY homes destroyed. Elon is site of Monacan Nation Pow-Wows on last Saturday/Sunday of May; dunno if it will "be" THIS year, tho.
