The token yard.

The day before yesterday, I received an invite to hunt a 1880s home that has remained in the same family since it was built. The residence is in Terrell County Georgia and is very well maintained. Shortly after getting started, I was hunting in the back yard I found a token. I thought it was pretty cool and stuck it in my pocket. A few feet away was another and then another and then another. I ended up with nine of these aluminum tokens from Pensacola Florida. My hunting buddy found at least seven more. It's kind of odd why so many were in one back yard in Southwest Georgia. I checked the company online and it appears that they are still in the liquor business. The only coin that I dug was a 1936 penny. Does anybody know anything about these?

Age would be nice to know and are there others known? I cannot find one on line.

I cant help you with the age, it could any time from the founding of the company the 1880s until mid 20th century when token began falling out of use.

How they got in that yard? One guess is as good as another. I didnt find them listed on the token catalog website so it could a rare token.

Simply solution.... delete the original post and offer "1" for sale, then sell all the ones you don't want to keep.

Simpler solution, give me all but one and I'll put them up so yours will be worth more!
