You have many beaches where it is possible to find Spanish treasure coins and artifacts as well as beaches with hidden relics from other eras. These beach found relics left over from the Florida Seminole indian wars that took place in the 1830's are much harder to find than lost tourist jewelry, sometimes the value in the find is the thrill of the find and recovering something that no one has touched for 176 years. Some of the many finds that I have recovered in the last 7 months on two South Florida beaches including an 1836 gold half eagle, musket balls and buttons. The more areas of Florida you search, the more variety of beach finds you may be lucky enough to discover.
Stay lucky!
Gary.
