These chips weren't stale !!!

I went out yesterday morning to one of the playground parks close to my house. It has a tennis court, swing area, kiddie slide area, and a b-ball backstop.

I used my backup detector, a White's IDX with a Bullseye 6 inch coil, to see how it compares to my M6 with its 6 inch coil.

I started on the grassy areas, finding a few new pulltabs, just under the surface.
Picked up 2 pennies, then a clad quarter, another penny and a few more pulltabs. :(

I then decided to try the woodchips where the swings are on. After 2 clad quarters, I got a nickel signal.
It wasn't a nickel....but a gold ring!!!!! ( Found out it was plated, but 14K plated) ;D ;D It's getting good NOW!!!

Searching some more, I got another penny. My next signal showed quarter, but as I got it up to daylight....I saw a sparkle of silver.......a nugget silver ring. ;D ( Sterling stamped on the inside)
After 2 more pennies being pulled out of the ground, and 3 more pulltabs I decide to come back another day to try again.

The first time at THAT particular park and I get 2 rings!!!! A first for me............. ;)
