Not too much to see on the river these days except Canada geese ( I remembered the correction! ) and the occasional Mallard. Today wasn't any exception to that.

I remember one winter in Reno, many many moons ago, there was a frozen pond with lots and lots of ducks and geese keeping some open water in the middle of the pond. It was fun to watch the critters come in for a landing, they'd hit that ice and slide to a stop.
 
Guess you better keep an eye on the suet balls then,ought to be some good action there.
