First, let me start by thanking you all for all the kind words and sentiments you have expressed in my time of grief. Your kind words will not be forgotten. Things have finally got simi back to normal. All the family from out of town have gone back, so I grabbed the ol' detector and headed up to a nearby elementary school to see what the 1st week of school had left behind. I managed to come away with some clad, 2 junque rings, i religious pendent, a George Washington dollar, and a 1980 MGM Grand $1.00 token from Las Vegas. It had me all excited at first because I thought I had found a silver dollar. That's OK, I think it's a pretty cool token anyway. The best part was just getting out, away from it all, and just being able to relax.
Again, thank you all. You are a wonderfull group of people.

Nice finds PM, glad to see you back out detecting. Metal detecting is as good a therapy as anything I've ever found. Good luck...Ryan

Nice finds! Glad you got out.

You know, detecting is the best therapy I've ever found. When I'm out, everything but what I'm doing leaves my mind. I don't know what I'd do without it. When you have to baby sit 20 grown men and try to solve all their problems day in and day out it can get a little crazy. Not to mention everything else, contractors, happy customers, not so happy customers, supply houses, scheduling, billing, collecting, the wife, the kids, the honey doo's Etc... I'm glad I found this hobby.

That's why I do it, to get off in my own little world. When I'm there, nothing else bothers me.

Nice bunch of coins, piggman. Like the token, too. Keep digging!

p.s. OK, all this therapy talk has me thinking I should forget the house cleaning tomorrow, pack up the kids, and head to a friends old farm to continue hunting. There's gotta be silver there somewhere. And a bad day of MDing has gotta beat a good day of cleaning toilets. ;)
