Thinking of cataloging my finds...

This is my second year detecting, and I've got a number of really interesting things in my display box. I just had a thought that I should maybe start some type of digital album that has a picture of each find with a small tidbit of the most interesting facts I have about it such as it's use, dates of manufacture, etc.

Do any of you do something like this? How do you go about it?

I keep pics of my better finds by year, and an Excel spreadsheet with details of when and where. For water finds, I also keep records of specifically where in the lake the item was found, which is useful to see patterns of where items are most frequently lost.
