Give dimes or nickels a try. Change of pace may lift your spirits. Halves are a fickel mistress!

I went 28 boxes all shunks then I got box 29 and found 14 40% er's then went 15 more shunks. They are far and few for me. Happy hunting......Matt

I'ts better to not have high expectations. I have a weekly pick up and dump routuine that CRH is now naturally part of my lifestyle. If you find the silver it's a plus and if you don't give up you'll find the silver before someone else does. If your just starting, try dimes if you need some motivation.

90% of the time it's more work that it should be...but that other 10% is great and makes it worth it.. .hahahah
Keep at it...you'll have some days that all you do is grind your teeth....and other days you'll be all smiles!

yes it is hard to see the light at the end some times. Am new to and i can tell you. the more you do. And the more you ask. For coins the more boxes you do the more you will get. Its not easy some times. And some areas just don't have much silver. Don't give up !! try all kinds of coins and boxes bags trays. talk to the tellers. See what works in your area!!Have fun..

I Pick up 4 Boxes a week. Last week only 1-40%, this week 2 skunks, then one had 10-40% and the other had 21- 40%.... And my BF found 15 silver dimes in on roll this week!! So i'll keep on going.

Its all hit and miss. Keep at it, it will happen.

To give you an idea

Jan 24th I got 2 boxes of halves. First box had 14/40% halves, the second had 17/40% and 12/90%

The next 8 boxes I have done have been skunks, 6 of the 8 were from the same bank.

Feb 1st to Feb 8th

Nickels: 179 rolls searched, 2 war and 1 V nickel
Dimes: 748 rolls searched, 17 rosies
Quarters: 123 rolls searched, Skunked
Halves: 522 rolls searched, 1/40% and 2/90%

When you look at it, not really the best numbers at all. Barely a box average on the dimes, 1 in 44 rolls. That is horrible as many here get 2 or 3 per box, sometimes 6! Then of course you have my nickels, only thing worse are quarters for me is nickels.

But.. the more volume you do, the better your odds.

Yesterdays haul, I hit some smaller towns and some out of the way banks.

Nickels: 100 Rolls, skunked
Dimes: 150 rolls searched, 3 Rosies and 4 solid rolls of Mercs ( 200 )
Quarters: 50 rolls, skunked ( Expect it on quarters )
Halves: 34 rolls, 4/40%

Keep at it, you will find your honey spots.

My suggestion, use google maps. Look at cities, look at populations, find out of the way banks and try some of those. My best producing bank, the one with the 4 rolls of mercs was the lone bank in the area. There were 10 banks in the city but this one was way off by itself, I honestly almost didnt even go to it and that is why I went because I figured, others might think the same thing.

You will find your pay streak but it will take a little work to do but once you find them, they pay off big time.
