So I've been maxing out the gain and digging iffy signals. Found a nice 3 ringer, a scrappy eagle cuff and this other stuff. On the rt. side of the pic is a thin copper rectangle, about two inches long. This is the 2nd one I've found, there are 3 holes on each side. Any ideas?

Thats some old goodies, keep at it ,coins and buttons are there too

Nice finds, your unknown item is an epulet keeper, or shoulder board keeper. It held the rank bar on the shoulder of a civil war period coat.

Nice sight and nice finds. Wow Weaponusmc i would of probaly threw that in the scrap pile Great ID

Awesome! Keep turning your spinal tap detector up to 11!

Unfortunatly, I have thrown away many good items due to ignorance. I now make sure that I look everything up before pitching into the trash. I even threw away a what I am now sure was a confederate belt plate at one point, it was rolled up and bare faced, dang my stupidity.

Cool relics and a very nice bullet!

Thanks WeaponsUSMC for the I.D. and Nick for the Spinal tap clip!
