This stone is 4x3x2.5 in. It is very hard and heavy. Weighs 47.8 gr. It has a lot of lines , straight angles and some are like lapped triangles on top of each other. When you shine a light it kinda explodes inside the stone, white and blue sparkles and and flash on the exterior as you move it around light. There's a clevis with a dark gem inside 3 it looks to me. It's host stone is yellowish but extremely hard, with many colors. Little crystals it seems. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks. 20231016_211539178.jpg

Let me know if you find out, aI also collect random crystals and fossils I find. I have some identical ones myself. I’ll try and find a pic later when I’m not working xD

4 x 3 x 2.5 is 30 cubic inches. 47.8 grams for 30 cubic inches isn’t heavy. A piece of granite that size would weigh over a kilogram. So would a piece of quartz, which is kinda what your specimen looks like but it’s too light for that.

Here are 2 pics of mine, got more chunks tho. Found in the French alps on the way to Spain

That one definitely looks like quartz. I’ve dug a ton of crystals in Arkansas that look very similar.

Yeah that’s what I was thinking they are too, they seem really heavy for their size but then you consider they’re rocks :P
