Its a nice looking rock. ( sort of a hart shape) What are the best color or type to collect. There are lots of them here. I just don't know what ones to save. There is a place close by me that will cut and polish them, but I don't want to spend the $5 to have this done if they are not worth anything. I found tow others but hit them with my hammer and well you know. ( lots of fragments. sorry)

Any help will be great.

Cheers.

Looks like pink agate to me.
As far as value is concerned, I have no idea, but they sure are pretty.

You have posted this rock before. I did not say anything that time, waiting for someone to say what it really was. But, since you insist, and post it a second time, I will say it now. It is a common sliced geode/agate, a nice one, but it has also been dyed a ridiculous unnatural pink color.

Thank you K.G. I was told to put the posts for rocks In this forum. As i was looking to get more info on it. I was wondering about the Pink color. Before I had it cut it was not so pink just covered in dirt. Now i know thank you.

Laguna pink agate perhaps. Looks polished on one side already.
And yes, sometimes your post will be moved to the proper forum. Welcome, and I encourage you to continue to post and ask questions.

Not a laguna agate and definitely dyed. It does not display the intricate fortification of lagunas.
