This weeks 20 boxes

Well the week started out ok, first 4 boxes produced 5 40%ers.

Then it started to go downhill pretty fast from there, Next 8 boxes was 1 40%er in the last box, next 4 had 1 40%er, then the last 4 had another 40%er...

Total 8 40%er... OUCH!!!!

Sucks coming off a week last week where I had my most silver found, 12 90%, and 36 40%. Then this week is my worst week since I switched what company I order boxes from(5 months ago).

These boxes were also FULL of 1994/1995 AU halves, like every roll had a few of them, and a bunch were real thick rimmed and looked like proofs(by rim checking) but werent. Ive been getting these 1994/1995 halves in streaks, seems like every month or so the boxes get loaded with them for whatever reason.

Yeah I'm with you, I hate the 94/95/98/00 AU halves. I'd rather have a load of marked halves than newer AU halves. 8 40's out of 20 boxes is pretty sparse.

Yeah Twitch, My average for this year so far is 1.33 pieces of silver per box. With a ratio of (1) 90% for every (4.5) 40%.

And this week .4 pieces of silver per box.

Hopefully it will average back out!!! Still waiting on a box with 30+ pieces in it!! lol

You and me both! I picked up a new box supplier this week so maybe I'll hit that 30+ box! 1.33 per box isn't too bad for the year. I'm at 0.33 but on boxes I have a very small sample size. You're 4.5:1 on 40's : 90's is also way better than mine. I'm more in the 8:1 range.

Ouch man, all 6 of my boxes were skunks this week as well, hopefully next week is better! I only searched 2 garda boxes though, the remaining 4 were brinks skunks.

Hey info, brace for it, it went down hill for me for the last 2 months almost, last week was a better week for me, hoping this week is too, but it could go bad for a while, I hope not for either of us, but, in a year and a half of doing this, these last few months are the worst it has ever been for me. Same exact boxes I've been getting for the last three weeks. I have one 40%er from the last 30 boxes that I did. Seeing tons of those 1994, 1995, and 1996 AU coins as well. Thick-rimmed, so you think they are at least a proof, but nope.

I've been seeing noticeably more AU halves with earlier dates than those, to the point where I considered keeping a few, but I decided not to hold up my funds. Plus I don't want to shell out the money for a folder. On the completely opposite end of the spectrum, I've been on my best silver streak since I started in January. Hoping for more luck with 10 boxes this evening!

Ugh, two of my orders were botched. Instead of 10 boxes of halves, I have five. But one of the tellers made up for it by giving me a 1954 Washington quarter!

I had 4 boxes suposed to come today at a bank, but they never called me, hopefully they just didnt have time to call, and they are waiting for me tommorow...

Was shorted 6 boxes last week, but im sure I didnt miss much lol. Ill prolly get them this week :P

hey guys, quick update here from this new week...

I more than doubled what I found last week in my first 4 boxes of the week, 1 box was a skunk, the other 3 boxes provided 4 enders, including a reverse BENDER, a reverse 1964 kennedy, and then 2 40%ers.

Out of the 3 boxes, I got 2 1952 Bens, 1976 SILVER!!!(not proof but AU condition), and 13 40%ers!!!

Now were back in business!!

I've only picked up four boxes so far this week. Just as skunky as the last few weeks' worth of boxes have been for me.
