Had a one week layoff this week so did a little extra searching, so here are the rest of this weeks finds.
$14 CWR nickels needed to fill a bag for dump.
5 – pre 59’
3 – Canadian 1 a 2009 that looks proof quality.
$10 CWR halves from bank in grocery store, Marked 71+.
SKUNK
$4 halves from teller tray at another bank.
5 – 40% : 1 – 67’, 2 – 68’, and 2 – 69’
Could see the silver as she laid them out on the counter.
Next day, two boxes of nickels from two banks.
BOX #1 (sealed Brinks)
35 – 1939 to 59’ including 1 1943P WAR
BOX #2 – All but 6 rolls CWR
188 – 1939 to 59’ including 8 WAR, 4 – 1943P, 2 -1944P, 1 – 1945P, and 1 – 1945D.
37 – Canadian, oldest a nice 1960
1 – 1987 Commonwealth of the Bahamas
2 – Buffalo's 1 – 1928 and one mangled no date.
Looked like someone turned in a nickel collection.
This week's four boxes of halves.
BOX #1
2 – 90% 1 – 1964 and 1 – 1941D Walker (first Walker)
3 – 40% 1 – 67’, 1 – 68’, and 1 – 69’
35 – NIFC 1 – 2007D, 18 – 2010P, and 16 – 2010D
1 – Token marked “Lucky” (not)
BOX #2
1 – NIFC 2005D
BOX #3
2 – 40% 1 – 67’ and 1 – 68’
37 – NIFC 1 – 2008D, 16 – 2010P, and 20 – 2010D
BOX #4
2 – NIFC 1 – 2010P and 1 – 2010D
Then I had to go find some halves to replace my culls. Found $180 CWR at a bank, the marking on the rolls looked familiar, like rolls I dumped at another bank 20 miles away.
As expected they were skunks.
With the great finds from last weekend it turned out to be a good week off despite the rain outside. I also opened bank accounts at 4 more banks this week, unfortunately everyone seems to receive their orders around Thursday each week, and I only have one bank that lets me dump in bags unrolled. Would like to find another good dump bank since none around here have coin counters.
