Some banks forgot to order my boxes 34 boxes 12- 90% and 33- 40% With 4 silver froofs 1966 68 67 And walkers 2 and 2 bens And a large hand of funny money. And my 1st silver coin from a tellers tray!! 40% Years silver total is 550 oz Its going up slow!!

What do you guys spend on fuel to go get these rolls of coins? Do you factor that into your search? I bought $1K of coins and not a single coin was worty of saving I got my coins from my local bank and found a creative way to get rid of them. I paid a medical bill that was incredibly inflated. They charged me over $300 for routine blood work that had I known I could have requested a different lab that charged maybe $50 but I didn't know until I got the bill that this hospital did this to suckers.

Good job sticking them Witt the coin. If you take gas into account you will lose money unless you have a very convienent dumping system. Ie a bank next door that will let you dump unlimited amounts. This does not exist. The only reason I CRH is because I can hit the bank while driving around at work. Otherwise I would only CRH when I had a reason to go to the bank.

My gas is like nothing i have a little car now that gets ??38 miles per gal. I go to ac every week end thats 120 miles i dump ?? about $8000 to $15000 and get money from the casinos i got $675 this week. Win win.............

I work for my self to. And its so easy for me to do 50 boxes. And my dumps are even easyer!!I use bags.

I have a 07 prius the cost for fuel alone at $3.50a gallon is .07cpmile. I use to MD but have found that it is not as profitable as dumpster diving you can as good as count on the money you will glean from collecting cans alone then the wow factor of finding something really worth a lot in the dumpster and you have me. CRH is a great idea I just wish folks would enter their time their fuel etc when they say what they made CRH bc some of you would make more money collecting buggy's at wally world when all is said and done and you don't have to risk your car. I have to say CRH can be more sucessful than metaldetecting and you can CRH using a set medium such as bus in Baton Rouge La you can take the bus for $56 a month unlimited rides until the line stops. Sadly I live outside the routes and I already have to pay for a car might as well use my car.

Easy, I've seen you recently frequenting the CRH'ing forum where you bring up the expenses of the hobby. It is something to consider, and it would be cheaper for us all to buy silver outright. But there is no fun in that. Factoring every expense into the hunt also takes away the thrill of the hunt.

I would advise just forgetting itemizing every single expense. Perhaps it is more meaningful if you went on a roadtrip specifically for CRH'ing. When I go grocery shopping, I don't factor in my gas. I go to the beach everyday. I don't factor in my gas. I don't factor in the wings from Hurricane Wings nor do I factor in a hoagie from Publix. If I factor in the other costs, it would be cheaper to stay in bed. Life needs to be lived. Enjoy it while it lasts.

My main dump bank and my half pickup bank are a mile and a half from my house and about a mile apart. In between that their is another 5 banks that i can use to get dimes. There is another 6 banks between my school and my house. If I were to go about a mile out of the way on my way to school I could hit my second dump bank and five more banks. Needless to say, I can make my trips to the bank extremely efficient. I have made a lot more money this summer than I have lost on gas.

Not itemizing every little expense? Error,error, sorry this does not compute..... That would go against every fiber of my being. I like coins, I like silver, I like making money. To each his own I guess... Didn't mean to be a killjoy.

Hobbies are to be enjoyed... I leave work at 4:00 now instead of 5:00. So all told im losing thousands in wages alone. Work isn't thrilling at all and other than having a 401k for retirement. I have nothing that would protect me in the event the dollar crashes. With the fed constantly talking about QE1, 2 and 3.. The purchasing of our own bonds. Commodities are our only protection.. Buying silver outright is freaking boring. I know i do that to.. So forget the stinken expenses unless money is that tight. Then maybe another hobby is in order anyways.

I bike to my local bank to pickup all of my coins in a backpack, and then hand roll them all once I am done.
