Funny thing, all these bullets were practically in the same hole. Same area anyway. Target shoot? How old?

At least this year started with a bang! Increased my mood considerably!

Bullets look like .45acp and 9mm full metal jacket type, likely less than 100 years old at most.

Is there an earthen bank or hill the bullets were in? Might be more it is or was an informal spot to shoot.
I've found odd spent bullets in areas that hint it was a while ago since they were put there. A couple parks come to mind.

Yep, nothing obvious as a shooting area. But, slight embankment and backed up to a wooded area.

My, dearly departed partner, used to say, "OK, we found the target end of the range. Now we need to figure out the shooting line cuz that's where all the betting happened!" 😏
