Picked this up locally for $3.00 - seller said it was from the late 1920s and belonged to her great aunt. I have so little familiarity with glass that I realky cannot tell if it’s that or a pier one piece. It’s hand blown, it is purple at the top and gets clear as it goes down - the weird part is that there’s a purple dot in the bottom. It has a crackly texture and the top is cut like crystal. What’s your thinking in this one? ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1529441676.423989.webpImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1529441688.460217.webpImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1529441698.582398.webp

Yeah, me neither. Very odd. That's all I can say. Looks top heavy, no?

A nice piece, cool find! :occasion14:

Looks like part of a lamp maybe? Just a guess.

They call them Dolly Parton lamps. :o

Our local glass expert said : “Mid Century Art Glass. Looks like Carl Erickson of Bremen, Ohio ca 1943-60.Crackle, amethyst, studio. $ 25-45..range as glass is soft now.”
